Crunchy Potato Croquettes
A delicious appetizer made from Potatoes and Bread crumbs… (Enjoyed best with wine and beer)

Ingredients
3-4 medium sized boiled Potatoes (serves 3-4 people)
1 finely chopped Onion
2 finely chopped green chillies
6-7 bread slices
Chopped coriander
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon garam masala
½ teaspoon coriander powder
Oil for deep frying
Cooking Method
1.In a container add the boiled potatoes and mash well.
2.Slowly mix rest of the ingredients to the potatoes – Onions, green chillies, coriander, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and coriander powder and mash the mixture well.
3.Take each bread slice and dip the corners in a bowl of water. Squeeze the water from the bread and add it to the potato mixture. Repeat the procedure for the rest of the slices.
4.Now sift the mixture well to prepare dough.
5.Now take a small portion from the dough, roll and then flatten into a 1 inch round ball.
6.Repeat the procedure to make about 10-15 round shaped balls.
7.In a pan deep fry the balls, in oil, until light brown.
8.Drain oil and serve the yummy crunchy croquettes with green chutney or ketchup.
